The Old Dairy is a beautifully modernised farmshed located in Cudgera Creek in northern New South Wales. Located on a large property surrounded by bushland, the farm is home to cows, horses, goats, chickens and even a couple of peacocks who roam the paddocks. You’d hardly guess with that just minutes down the road are some of the Tweed Coast’s most popular beaches including Pottsville and Hastings Point.

The accommodation itself is a simple yet homely open plan abode. The overall feel is rustic, with exposed timber throughout, contrasted in place with feature walls of corrugated iron. This is offset by the modern polished concrete floors feel cool and calming underfoot, and can be warmed in the winter months with the well-stocked combustion fireplace.

In the warmer months, opening the large glass bi-fold doors allows the outside in, creating airflow and huge sense of space. Wander out these doors onto the deck and enjoy the sounds of nature, or the crackling of the firepit after dark with a glass of wine or marshmallows in hand.

The bathroom features a luxuriously large round bath for another level of relaxation, and the furnishing include welcoming oversized leather lounges. Local artworks adds the final homely touch, our favourite being the eye-catching sulfur crested black cockatoo.

Whether it’s a romantic weekend away, or a small family getaway, The Old Dairy is a delightfully unique accommodation option that won’t break the bank.
